Diversified Liquid Packaging Group's (DLPG) largest area of expertise is the supply of cartons to the non-carbonated liquid beverage market. These include categories such as dairy, fruit juice, wine, traditional beer, water and mageu. But we also supply cartons to the dry foods markets of roasted coffee beans, rice, sugar, mielie meal, cereal and seeds. The carton range is divided between conical and straight sided cartons. Our conical Conipak® cartons have been specially developed for the traditional beer market, with a special vent that allows gas to escape while the beer is fermenting in pack. The packs are 100% tamper evident as they cannot be resealed once opened. This gives the consumer peace of mind that the beer hasn’t been tampered with or watered down as so easily happens in the supply of bulk traditional beer. This one beer, one pack, one time approach ensures that absolute hygiene, product safety and quality brand reputation is maintained. DLPG has over half a century of expertise producing straight sided cartons. We manufacture both foil-lined and non-foil lined cartons, to cater for both high and low acid products. All ISO, HACCP and food safety accreditations are in place ensuring you piece of mind and packing to bring out the best in your product. Our Extended Producer Responsibility commitments for the collection and recycling of post-consumer carton waste are facilitated through our membership and board representation of Fibre Circle. We also produce environmentally friendly paper bags for sugar and flour, as well as cartons for cigarettes in our Lusaka plant.
